BRITISH boxer Louis Adolphe has courted controversy with a sickening cheap shot that knocked his opponent unconscious.
The 25-year-old was disqualified in the first round of his welterweight bout against Nathan McIntosh at Wembley Arena on Sunday night.
With a matter of seconds left to the bell and both fighters locked in a tangle, referee Howard Foster could be clearly seen calling for them to break.

As McIntosh turned away and lowered his guard, Adolphe struck with a devastating right hook that knocked his opponent crashing to the canvas.
Doctors attended to the stricken McIntosh as his rival raised his arm in the air, but his celebrations were cut short when the referee disqualified him for the first loss of his eight-fight career.
