An angry Chris Christie has been caught on camera getting up into a Chicago Cubs fan’s face while holding a bowl of nachos after he was called a ‘hypocrite’.
The New Jersey Governor was in Milwaukee at Miller Stadium on Sunday afternoon for the Cubs-Brewers game.
Footage shows him leaning in just inches from Cubs fan Brad Joseph’s face in the stands as he balanced the tray of loaded nachos.
The video was filmed and posted on Twitter by WISN journalist Ben Hutchinson – a relative of Joseph’s – who said Christie was being ‘razzed’ by some in the crowd.
It captured the end of what appeared to be a heated confrontation with the baseball fan.
‘Yeah, you’re a big shot,’ Christie could be heard saying.
He then pulled back and walked away down the stairs to his seat with his nachos still in tact.
‘I appreciate that,’ Joseph replied as Christie retreated.
‘When he initially was going up the stairs I yelled his name. He was quite a bit passed me, and 30 feet away I yelled his name and told him that he sucked… I called him a hypocrite because I thought it needed to be said,’ Joseph told WISN.
