While promoting his VH1 music competition show, “Signed,” the rapper and label boss put his foot in his mouth when he explained why he hasn’t signed female talent to his Maybach Music Group: “You know, I never did it because I always thought, like, I would end up f – – king a female rapper and f – – king the business up.”
He also told Power 105.1’s “Breakfast Club,” “I just I gotta be honest . . . She looking good. I’m spending so much money on her photo shoots. I gotta f – – k a couple times.”
Ross has been in hot water before for controversial lyrics about women, and was dropped from a 2013 Reebok endorsement.
He said at the time, “To every woman that has felt the sting of abuse, I apologize.”
He recently told Page Six of identifying female artists for the show: “I love Sade, I love Whitney Houston, I love all those beautiful women. As well as anybody that you may consider not beautiful. If the music is beautiful and dope, I support it.”
