In a new interview with Vanity Fair however, Angelina has now revealed how she was diagnosed with high blood pressure and Bell’s palsy – a type of facial paralysis which restricts control of facial muscles – following the split.
‘I actually feel more of a woman because I feel like I’m being smart about my choices, and I’m putting my family first, and I’m in charge of my life and health,’ Angelina said.
‘I think that’s what makes a woman complete… Sometimes women in families put themselves last until it manifests itself in their own health.’
In the same interview she also opened up about ‘crying in the shower’ and not in front of their six children.
