“Ebro” Darden recently invited the starboy – Wizkid for a sit down on his On Beats 1 show.
Wizkid is currently in the spotlight after releasing his recent EP project’ Sounds from the Other Side’ which easily managed to get massive global attention. Ebro and Wizkid had an interesting chat touching on Wiz’s career, music, sound, inspiration and relationship with international artists.

– Wiz makes it clear that this is an EP, not an album
– Fela Kuti and Bob Marley are Wizkid’s biggest inspiration
– He has a close relationship with Ty Dolla Sign and they some unreleased music which is still on archive
– Skepta is the major key who made ‘Ojuelegba’ Remix with Drake happen, Wizkid makes it clear ‘it has nothing to do with me’
– The collabo song ‘Gbese’ with Trey Songz happened one night when he came through to Naija, Wiz decided to take him on a wild night even bought 100 bottles of champagne
– His dream collaborations; Pharrell, Kanye West, Damian Marley (who he recently met and hinted that collabo)
