The new Doctor Who has been announced as Jodie Whittaker, and the internet is going crazy for the news.

It’s big news for social media users as we find out Jodie Whittaker, best known for her role in Broadchurch, is officially going to be the 13th doctor – and the first ever female to take on the iconic role.

Yep, It’s ALL about the girl power right now.
