Former high school orchestra teacher Therese Gunn, 54 BLAMES male student, 17, for their affair and says he forced himself on her, ‘like a used car salesman’

A female music teacher told a judge her 17-year-old student tricked her into sex ‘like a used car salesman’.

Theresa Gunn, 54, who taught at Gwinnett High School in Atlanta, Georgia, had been arrested and charged with one count of sexual assault and three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

While she initially conceded that she made a poor decision, Gunn changed her tone on Friday when she told a judge her student had forced himself onto her, the Atlantic Journal Constitutionreported.

‘He did, he was like a used car salesman,’ she told the court.

But the judge was not swayed by her statement and sentenced her to 90 days in jail and ten years probation.

‘I don’t find that you’re the kind of person that needs to be warehoused for years,’ Davis said.

‘We get those cases and we get them out of society as long as we can. You’re not one of those.

‘But you clearly betrayed the trust that you had of parents, this parent, putting this child in your care.’
