Obviously, if you buy your makeup from a dodgy place then you can expect a reaction at any time. Some products will cause irritation and will be trouble for your skin. Always sample a bit of any product before going all out, test it on a part of your skin and from you will know how safe it is.

We have this hype for going natural in anything and everything including skin products. But just because a product is labelled to be natural does not mean it is actually good for you. Some of these so-called natural products end up clogging your pores leading to serious pimples. Always apply the skin test rule regardless of how safe you think a product is.

4. If you keep using acne medication it can get worse.

Dermatologists studied for a very long time so they can help us with our skin problems. So, please if need be get a dermatologist to recommend the right amount of acne medication and which one to actually use. If you overuse a certain drug on your face then it may dry your skin up and even lead to additional scarring.

Licorice is an extract that will help with your acne so forget what people say about it causing acne. It directly attacks the bacterium that causes acne.

Even after your skin is clear to effectively ensure the breakout does not occur again you should not stop using your treatment. The rule is, once you have had acne you need to take care of your skin with extra care than someone who has never had it.
