A New Zealand mother-of-two has sent the Internet into a frenzy after creating 62 impressive dinners with less than $100 worth of groceries.
Katie Lynch, 32, from Hamilton, wanted to challenge herself to see how much she could make after realising that one dinner for herself, her husband and the two kids, aged one and three, cost $30.
‘That is a huge amount of money for one dinner, especially when I realised that I could buy four whole chickens for $28,’ Mrs Lynch told Daily Mail Australia.

‘I didn’t put a whole lot of thought into it I just went to the groceries with six recipes in mind that I came up with and looked out for any discounts or specials I could find.’
Mrs Lynch took to her blog, Busy Happy Kids NZ, to show off her handy work after spending four evenings cooking up the 62 dinners.
‘For $100 I cooked 62 single meals – that’s $1.62 per serving,’ she wrote.
