Plane Crash on the 405 Freeway: Video shows bystanders dragging victims from the flaming wreckage

The dramatic moment bystanders pulled a man and woman to safety from burning plane wreckage on a freeway has been caught on video.

The scenes of bravery took place on Friday during the morning commute, when a twin-engine Cessna 310 crashed on Interstate 405 near John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California.

The plane’s two occupants, a man and a woman in their 50s and 60s, were taken to a local hospital with ‘traumatic injuries’, according to Orange County Fire Capt Larry Kurtz.

The new video was shot by commuter Mirza Baig as he approached the flaming wreckage in the opposite lanes.
