Feminism had a good run, but sadly, as of March 30, 2016, it’s over. Cause of death? Women doing what they want with their bodies and not caring what anyone else thinks.
Well, that is if you’re letting Piers Morgan take the pulse of women’s rights for you. In which case, it’s probably time for a second opinion.
The grumpy television host tweeted a picture of suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst alongside Kim Kardashian’s most recent selfie — a topless photo with Emily Ratajkowski — and the caption “RIP Feminism.”
Meanwhile, Kardashian and Ratajkowski both feel empowered by sex-positive feminism. Pankhurst, who died in 1928, did not put Morgan in charge of her legacy.
Kim hasn’t responded to Morgan’s concerns, but was not pleased the last time he chimed in about her nude selfies and offered to buy her clothes.
Her opinions of what other people think she should do with her body died a long time ago, but feminism still seems to be kicking, despite reports to the contrary.
